The e-Visa for Egypt is an official document granted by the Government of Egypt permitting entry into Egypt for tourism and business purposes. All eligible applicants can obtain the required e-Visa by filling out a simple form online.
It was first introduced in 2017 and it allows citizens of eligible countries to apply for their e-visa in just a few minutes by completing a simple online form.
The eVisa can be granted as a single or a multiple entry permit, depending on the application. Both allow applicants to visit the country for a maximum stay of 30 days. The single-entry e-Visa allows one entry and it is valid 3 months, and the multiple-entry e-Visa allows multiple times during a period of 6 months.
Applicants need to apply for their e-visas at least 7 days before the date of departure.
Applicant only needs to provide his personal information, details of the travel and a photo of the biographical page of his passport, valid for at least 6 months.
Travelers must bring the following documentation upon arrival at an Egyptian port of entry:
Approved e-Visa.
Valid passport of at least 6 months of validity.
Travel itinerary.
Hotel bookings and/or details of their place of stay in Egypt.
